The controller informs the data subject of the extension and the reasons for the delay within one month of receipt of the request. If the data subject’s requests are unfounded or excessive (repetitive), the controller may charge a fee or refuse to act on the request.
The data subject may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority for the protection of personal data in case of violation of their rights. The controller is obliged to inform the data subject about the possibility of submitting a complaint to the supervisory authority for the protection of personal data.
